Did you know? The Southern Pole of Inaccessibility (SPOI) in Antarctica, the continent's farthest point from any ocean, hosts an abandoned Soviet research station. A bust of Vladimir Lenin, which points towards Moscow, still protrudes from the snow and ice at this incredibly remote site.
